# tinyPod
Maybe [this](https://thetinypod.com/) will solve all my phone problems (but probably not).

My current watch is a Series 7, 41mm, Aluminum & ceramic case.
It has GPS but no LTE.
If I were to buy a watch _today_ for the tinyPod, I'd probably only consider models with cellular, so that the tinyPod could replace my phone.
Since Apple doesn't have a robust comparison tool where I can pit my current watch against newer models, here's my own hacked chart:
| | Series 7 | SE | Series 9 | Ultra 2 |
| -------- | -------- | --------- | --------- | --------- |
| Size | 41mm | 40 or 44 | 41 or 45 | 49 |
| GPS | yes | yes | yes | Precision |
| Cellular | no | available | available | |
| Price | $0 | $299 | $499 | $799 |
| Battery | ? | 18h | 18h | 36h |
If I only want to buy one tinyPod, I can probably get away with a 41mm, and fit my current watch into it to test out, then maybe buy a 41mm Series 9 (or 10 by that time?).
- [ ] #project #tinyPod test it out with non-cellular Apple Watch. I think this means I need to send all phone notifications to it, and then put it in my pocket where the phone would be, and leave my phone somewhere in the house? (or start putting my phone in another pocket)
