# WeatherKit I set up the first weatherkit on 4 May 2024. It's an [Enviro Weather](https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/enviro-weather?variant=40056776917075) from Pimoroni, mounted in a Stevenson screen. It doesn't have the wind or rain sensor, so right now it's just temperature, humidity, pressure, and light. Because the brain of the device is a Pico W, it can connect to the home Wi-Fi network. From there it publishes its data via MQTT to the home mosquitto server running on the [[HomeAssistant|Home Assistant Yellow]]. I still need to teach HA how to parse the data that's coming in.
