# Anima This is a project about a tangible computing environment, a living-space that can think, a computer that makes its users look out instead of in. It started with the ideas of Dynamicland and Folk Computer, both projects that use projection and vision systems to build visually interactive compute environments on physical surfaces. The project evolved in summer 2026, at the confluence of a few events: - I received and started using a Pebble Indepx 01 microphone ring to add new notes to Obsidian - I started doing intentional research into self-hosting an LLM - I watched a few more "smart home" videos that tipped me toward action The project is currently about a smarter home.
